Dreadful Day Ever
It all started with a case of bedhead hair. I couldn't do it to look decent. As I was dashing out the door, I trippedon and with a thud all over the carpet. To make matters worse, I was completely late for school.
I with no time to spare. My {boss|teacher|was absolutely furious. I managed to explain, but it was no use.
The rest of the day was just as bad. Everything. I get anything done.
By the time I got home, I was exhausted. This day, this atrocious day will be forever remembered as an epic fail.

It all started out horribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then it went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to throw your hands up.
